Robert Kilby

Rob qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1997 and has spent most of his career in small animal practice.  

After 8 years in mixed practice in East Devon he worked in North Somerset for another 19 years. He has been seeing patients in a first opinion sole charge role since 2005 and has gained a huge amount of experience in all aspects of first opinion work.  

Rob joined Summerhill Vets in 2024 and has moved to the Monmouthshire countryside for the more peaceful surroundings. He has an interest in dog training and behaviour and as such is dedicated to providing the best experience possible for the animals, he treats making every visit to the vets as pleasant as possible for both pet and owner.

In his spare time Rob trains and competes in Agility with his 2 Border collies Dyce and Penny.
